I’m Katie Burke, a freelance bookkeeper based in Golden, Colorado. I help service-based small business owners manage their finances remotely using Quickbooks Online.

My path to bookkeeping was more of a spiral than a straight line. I got a degree in psychology and then used my skills in the service industry in many capacities, connecting with a wide variety of people. During the pandemic, like many others, I looked for a way to work from anywhere. I’d always found joy in numbers, strategy, and creating order out of chaos. Bookkeeping would let me use those skills while offering an impactful service with a lot of flexibility. Thus, Full Bloom Bookkeeping was born.

We do our best work from a calm and focused state of mind. If you are a small business owner, you likely wear many hats. It’s difficult to be fully present with your clients when you are thinking about the pile of tasks you need to take care of behind the scenes.
