I help service-based small business owners — LLCs and S-Corps — whose businesses are starting to take off. I take care of the details so my clients can continue to focus on those they serve.

I use QuickBooks Online to keep your records updated & generate accurate reports. If you’re already set up in Quickbooks, that makes it easy! If you’re not set up yet or are using different software, let’s chat. I may still be able to help.

  • Monthly Bookkeeping

    Monthly bank & credit reconciliation, transaction categorization, and financial reports

    This option is for you if your business has more than 75 transactions per month, or if you’d like more frequent, customized bookkeeping assistance.

    This option is for you if your business has less than 75 transactions per month and your main concern is having your books ready at tax time.

  • Cleanup and Review

    This option focuses on getting untamed books back on track

    Bank & credit card reconciliations, duplicate/missing transaction review, chart of accounts cleanup, and a Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet covering the cleanup period.

    Pricing varies depending on the length of the cleanup period and complexity of the project

  • Quickbooks Setup

    Are you just getting started with bookkeeping in Quickbooks Online? I can set up your account so it's ready to serve your specific needs.

    A 45-minute Quickbooks Online training is available if desired after the setup is complete.

  • There are many reasons to hire a bookkeeper.

    1. Having a bookkeeper will set you up well for seasons of growth.

    2. It will save you time, money, and stress when it’s time to file taxes.

    3. You can talk to your bookkeeper (rather than only your accountant) about your business’s financial health.

    4. Your bookkeeper is already an expert in bookkeeping software — so you don’t have to be.

    5. Your financial reports will always be current, so you can review your business’s financial position at any time.

  • I set my rates based on the complexity & frequency of work required to keep your books tax ready.

    The “starting at” prices above are based on a single-member business with 2 or fewer accounts connected to Quickbooks and less than 75 transactions total per month. It includes transaction coding, monthly reconciliations, and two reports per cycle.

    Generally speaking, the larger the business — the more accounts that need reconciling, the more transactions, and the more specific your needs are — the higher the rate.

    In addition to the services summarized above, I offer:

    • Invoicing/Accounts Receivable assistance

    • Stripe, Square, and Paypal fee capture

    • Receipt attachment

    • Customized reports

    • Commissions calculations

    • Collaboration with your CPA at tax time

  • If you already have Quickbooks:

    1. I’ll request access to your Quickbooks file and perform a diagnostic review (this is included in the onboarding fee).

    2. Based on the results, I’ll create a proposal for you that includes your basic bookkeeping needs with optional service add-ons.

    3. I’ll let you know what financial documents I’ll need from you on a regular basis — this will involve creating a shared folder or providing me with read-only bank access to pull bank statements.

    If you don’t have a bookkeeping system set up yet: I’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out so that I can properly set up your file.

    If you use a different accounting software like Wave or Xero: the onboarding process will look similar depending on your business needs.

  • Usually, only two or three times per month.

    1. I’ll send you a message to request statements if I don’t have read-only access to your bank

    2. If there are any transactions I’m not able to categorize without clarification from you, I’ll ask you about them and categorize them appropriately

    3. If you’ve requested regular reports, I’ll provide the reports to you after the month/quarter is complete

    It is worth noting that the completeness & accuracy of the service I provide depends largely on how willing you are to provide documents & clarification when needed.

    I will do my part to create a positive, professional working relationship. I want to make your life easier — I will never bother you unless I need to to get the job done well!

  • I currently do not offer payroll services. However, if you need payroll set up, I partner with Gusto and can offer you a discount. I’ve never had an issue with them; they make it really easy.

    If you already have a payroll service setup, I will ensure payroll entries are posted correctly in Quickbooks.

    I don’t offer tax filing services at this time. However, I am happy to collaborate with your CPA or tax preparer to make sure your tax season is seamless.
